Intense coloured monthly lenses

Make a radical change to your natural colour and give your eyes a breathtaking new look.

FreshLook Colors, produced by the American contact lens manufacturer Ciba Vision, is a premium monthly lens for anyone who wants a radical new look for their eyes. FreshLook Colors contact lenses are deeply tinted monthly lenses that can even conceal naturally dark eye colours.

Most coloured contact lenses are available for people with light eye colours, so for those of you with dark eyes FreshLook Colors are the lenses for you. Mister Spex, your online optician, sells FreshLook Colors in a total of 6 different tints.

FreshLook Colors are taken out at the end of the day and stored in care solution overnight. Clean lenses are inserted each day so you can enjoy that fresh feeling, without having to worry about red or itchy eyes.

At Mister Spex we have FreshLook Colors, so that you can change your eye colour as often as you wish. FreshLook Colors are available without spherical correction, which means non-lens-wearers can enjoy the dazzling coloured lens look.

Non-prescription contact lenses should always be fitted by an optician or eye doctor.

Please note

Mister Spex advises all online purchasers of FreshLook Colors contact lenses: the contact lenses, FreshLook Colors, should always be fitted to your eyes by an eye doctor or optician. The period between fittings, unless otherwise prescribed by an eye doctor or optician, should not exceed 6 months. You should go for regular check-ups. The manufacturer Ciba Vision/your eye doctor/optician's recommended wearing time for FreshLook Colors contact lenses should be followed strictly. It is your own personal responsibility to make yourself aware of the care instructions for FreshLook Colors contact lenses and to follow them accordingly. In case of eye irritation or visual impairments caused by FreshLook Colors, remove the contact lenses immediately and consult an eye doctor or optician. Damaged contact lenses should be replaced immediately.

Failure to comply with these safety precautions can cause permanent damage to your eyes and vision.

Definitions

  1. Your prescription details are the results of your last eye test. They comprise the following values: sphere (Sph), cylinder (Cyl), axis (A) and addition power (ADD). On all prescriptions you will find a sphere value. If you have astigmatism, you will also find values for cyl and A. Multi-focal lenses for presbyopia have an addition power (ADD).
  2. The term base curve refers to the curvature of the inside surface of the contact lens. Larger base curves provide a looser fit to your cornea. Smaller (or "steeper") base curves provide a tighter fit.
  3. The diameter of a contact lens refers to the size of the lens, from one side to the other. Smaller eyes will need smaller lenses, and larger eyes need lenses with a larger diameter.
  4. The colour of your lenses.
  5. The sphere is the basic strength of your contact lenses, measured in dioptres (D). If a plus value is indicated, then you are far-sighted. A minus value indicates short-sightedness.
  6. Where a corneal astigmatism is present, cylinder value refers to the strength required to correct said astigmatism. It is measured in dioptres and can be a negative (short-sighted) or positive (far-sighted) value.
  7. The axis value states the direction of the corneal astigmatism (irregular curvature of the cornea). It is measured in degrees from 0 to 180.
  8. An addition power is found on prescriptions for presbyopia. It refers to the additional strength required for near vision. It can be a a +/- diopritic value (distant R/L: -2.00D and Add. R/L: +2.00D), but also an ascending valule(distant R/L: +2.00D and Add. R/L: +2.00D - +4.00D).
