Which frames will suit my face?
Every face is unique, but our different face shapes are broken down into four categories. Your choice of new glasses will be heavily influenced by which of these categories your face shape falls into.
To determine the shape of your face, brush your hair back, away from your face, and look straight ahead into a mirror. Take a close look at the width of your forehead, cheeks and chin. Now look at the outline of your face, from your hairline and round to your cheekbones and jawline.
If you can’t decide on your face shape by looking in the mirror, brush your hair back, away from your face, and take a photo of yourself. Print the photo out and, with a felt-tip, draw around the edge of your face from your hairline, around your temples to your jawbone and on to your chin.
The shape that you have drawn is the shape of your face.
