Quality toric monthly lenses with UV protection

BioMedics toric contact lenses are toric lenses from Cooper Vision. Toric contact lenses correct sight impairments caused by astigmatism.

The monthly lenses BioMedics toric fit perfectly from the very first blink - thanks to the revolutionary Aberration Neutralising System - and guarantee sharp vision fast. The streamlined edge allows the lid to gently glide over the eye, resulting in the lens enjoying a more stable position on the eye.

Visitint technology gives BioMedics toric monthly lenses a light blue tint, making it easier for you to find the lenses in both your eye and in the lens case. The smoother surface has been proven to reduce protein and lipid deposits. The result is a trouble-free wearing experience even over extended periods. The integrated UV protection has been proven to reduce the risk of cataracts later in life.

Save money by ordering several packets of BioMedics toric monthly lenses at once from the Mister Spex online store, or with our bundle offers, which also include suitable care solutions.

Please note

Mister Spex advises all online purchasers of BioMedics toric contact lenses: the contact lenses, BioMedics toric, should always be fitted to your eyes by an eye doctor or optician. The period between fittings, unless otherwise prescribed by an eye doctor or optician, should not exceed 6 months. You should go for regular check-ups. You should also follow strictly the recommended wearing time from the manufacturer Cooper Vision/your eye doctor/optician's recommended wearing time for BioMedics toric contact lenses should be followed strictly. It is your own personal responsibility to make yourself aware of the care instructions for BioMedics toric contact lenses and to follow them accordingly. In case of eye irritation or visual impairments when wearing BioMedics toric, remove the contact lenses immediately and consult an eye doctor or optician. Damaged contact lenses should be replaced immediately. The manufacturer, Cooper Vision, would like to point out that contact lenses with a UV filter do not replace safety glasses or sunglasses.

Failure to comply with these safety precautions can cause permanent damage to your eyes and vision.

Correction values Your prescription details are the results of your last eye test. They comprise the following values: sphere (Sph), cylinder (Cyl), axis (A) and addition power (ADD). On all prescriptions you will find a sphere value. If you have astigmatism, you will also find values for cyl and A. Multi-focal lenses for presbyopia have an addition power (ADD).

Base curve / BC The term base curve (also called BC) refers to the curvature of the inside surface of the contact lens. Larger base curves provide a looser fit to your cornea. Smaller (or "steeper") base curves provide a tighter fit.

Sphere / PWR The sphere or power (PWR) is the basic strength of your contact lenses, measured in dioptres (D). If a plus value is indicated, then you are far-sighted. A minus value indicates short-sightedness.

Cylinder Where a corneal astigmatism is present, cylinder value refers to the strength required to correct said astigmatism. It is measured in dioptres and can be a negative (short-sighted) or positive (far-sighted) value.

Axis The axis value states the direction of the corneal astigmatism (irregular curvature of the cornea). It is measured in degrees from 0 to 180.
