The JOOP! sunglasses collection for men and women includes modern interpretations as well as classic designs in the unmistakable style of the brand.


Wolfgang Joop’s career, and the story behind the JOOP! brand, began in 1978 when the designer successfully presented his first collection. His first prêt-à-porter collections for men and women had already been launched by the time JOOP! was founded in 1987. Wolfgang’s unmistakable signature style had already taken shape and he gave his name to the well-known trademark JOOP! The brand focus on self-confident and individual women and men remains clear to this day.

With successfully-established fashion lines, the product range has been expanded more and more over the years. The perfume "Femme" became Germany’s best-selling fragrance in 1987. Today, shoes, watches, jewellery, fashion items and home accessories are sold under the JOOP! label. The designer himself retired from the company in 2001 and took a creative break before bursting back onto the fashion scene with the Wunderkind brand.

Today, JOOP! is marketed by the Holy Fashion Group with designers Marc Biggeman and Stefanie Grosse responsible for the collections. The brand portfolio includes women's and men's fashion, accessories (bags, shoes, leather goods, glasses), watches, jewellery and underwear as well as a home collection featuring textiles, bedding and even furniture. The JOOP! brand stands for traditional extravagance, glamour and sex appeal of the highest quality. It is aimed at women and men with a passion for fashion, design and the urban lifestyle. The close relationship between JOOP! and the city of Berlin is clearly reflected in the brand’s cosmopolitan attitude and perfectly echoes its German roots.

Jette Joop, the daughter of Wolfgang Joop, also initially marketed products under the JOOP! brand. The successful designer now produces and distributes products under her own label, Jette GmbH.
