Vasuma was created in 2005 by three friends: Jan Vana, Steffen Sundelius and Lars Malmsten. Having worked within a mix of creative areas such as design, interior, music and fashion the friends shared common interests and set out to create an alternative eyewear brand to challenge the traditional labels.
The brand offers eyewear inspired from the epitome of the vintage eras of the 50s and 60s spiced with a modern twist. All this is blended together with the inspiration from popular culture to create eyewear that enhances the wearer’s own identity and personality.
By participating in music festivals collaborations with world famous artists, product placement in movies and trendy restaurants, Vasuma has become the choice for people with an interest in pop-culture. Vasuma have initiated CSR projcects together with "Save the Children", ”Anti cyber-hate”, ”WWF/Baltic Sea”, "Glasses for Refugees" and the ”Alien Supermarkets”.
